The Task Force on American Innovation (TFAI)—an alliance of industry, scientific societies, and university organizations—sincerely thanks you both for requesting the Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies provide the highest possible FY20 funding levels for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
TFAI commends you both for your bipartisan leadership and continued support of strong investments for NSF and NIST. Robust funding for these agencies is crucial for the U.S. to remain a competitive world leader in innovation and scientific research.
